The AT-4 is a 'reciolless' munition. Seeing that it took off forward, it would have to have had a projectile 'jam' in the tube. The subsequent equal force, would propell the entire launcer forward.Yes.....very lucky to have walked away at all. The round has a (I think) 30 meter arming range, but still lucky the back blast didn't ruin his day. (Ex 66mm SRAAW instuctor, First Armoured)

looks like the rear of it exploded. He's lucky it didn't kill him.
Anyone know why that would happen? I'll bet he wasn't too excited to use one of those again. I don't agree "Someone missed training day. ", as it looks like he did everything right as far as firing it. It was probably "made in China" or something..lol
